The One Hand Cut aka Charlier Cut

The magician cuts the deck using one hand.

Hold the deck in your right hand with your thumb along one of the long edges and your other four fingers along the other. Using your thumb let the bottom half of the deck drop into your palm. Slide your index finger underneath the portion that just fell into your palm, and push it towards your thumb. Once the bottom portion is pushed enough slide the top portion of the deck back slightly, letting the bottom portion slide over it, this will cause the top portion of the deck to fall from your thumb and into your palm, once this drop occurs use your thumb to square up the deck.
