The French Drop

The magician appears to transfer a coin from one hand to the other, but the coin actually remains in the original hand.

Hold a coin in your left hand, with your thumb on top and the tips of your middle and ring finger on bottom. Move your right hand towards the left, first putting your right thumb behind the coin, then putting the other fingers of your right hand in front of the coin. With your left hand, let the coin fall into your left hand, immediately after the fall, close your right hand around where the coin used to be. As you pull your right hand away, point to it with your left hand, pretending that the coin is now in your right hand.
